LODHA The World Towers is being built at an estimated cost of over US$321 million. Once complete, World One will be the tallest building in India, and the tallest residential skyscraper in the world, if completed before Pentominium.
Construction began in 2011, and is expected to be completed in 2018.
World One's architect is Pei Cobb Freed & Partners and the structural engineer is Leslie E. Robertson Associates. Apartment prices in World One start from ₹75 million (US$1.1 million) with the most expensive being as much as ₹500 million (US$7.5 million), while Lodha Group anticipates total revenue of ₹50 billion (US$750 million) from the sale of these apartments.
LODHA the 'World One Tower' in Mumbai does not just have a swimming pool, gym and health club, but also cricket pitches and a pavilion.
The interiors are designed by Giorgio Armani. As well as the swimming pool, gym and health club that come as standard with most luxury apartment blocks, it also boasts cricket pitches and a pavilion.
When it is completed LODHA the World One Tower will loom 117 storeys over the city of Mumbai in India, making it the world’s tallest residential skyscraper.
